Welcome to Newhaven Yacht Club. Newhaven Yacht club was founded in the early 1960s when Newhaven was the nearest port to London and back then catered for the rich and famous! Now we are the club catering for yachts mainly moored in the two marinas in Newhaven harbour, as well as a group of crew members located around the South-east. We are a small and friendly club with the aim of promoting fun and adventure at sea with regular competitive cruises, overnight trips to adjacent harbours and much further afield. We have a wealth of experience within the club and our members are more than happy to share their experience, local knowledge and maintenance advice. For those looking to gain confidence, experience, or sea miles, or even do their first channel crossing in company, Newhaven Yacht club is right for you.
