About Kings Ferry Boat Club

Individual Boat owners had been mooring their boats at the Kingsferry Bridge since the 1950s. In 1970 a group of boat owners came together to form the Kingsferry Boat Club. The aim of the club was to protect the interests of the members who moor their boats at the bridge, to administer the moorings in accordance with the port authority’s bylaws and to promote social activities for its members. We are a self-help Members club and through the hard work of our members we have been able to improve and add to the facilities that the club can offer. These include a pontoon, haul out trolley, dinghy storage area, slip way, scrubbing dock and CCTV. We have over 50 sheltered mooring positions, drying and deep water, giving excellent access to the Swale, Medway and Thames estuaries. Road access is excellent as we are just off the A249 and Swale halt train station is just a few minutes walk from the club.
