Activities
In 2000, Simon & Di borrowed the lake for Barefoot Water-ski Team Training on flat water. A flippant comment to the then owners led to them now owning the lake!! They opened the doors to Action Watersports on 1st April 2001 having transformed the once barren lake into a World-Class Watersports Venue. Now the ONLY Venue in the UK offering the amazing range of adrenaline pumped watersports. Simon, British Water Ski Coach and GB Team Member, to this day still competes for England in Barefoot Water-skiing. Di, British Water-ski Coach and National Competition Boat Driver, retired from barefooting in 2001 as the 2000 Ladies National Champion. All the buildings at the lake have been created and built by Simon, with a view to give you the best experience on and off the water. There have been well over 900 trees, bushes and shrubs planted since 2000, making it a haven for nature and giving the best water conditions. On days many other lakes have to close due to the weather, we remain unaffected on our sheltered lake. Simon & Di can be found at the lake most days as their passion for these sports is as strong now as it ever was.
