Our club welcomes all local community members to join and is friendly and affordable with membership options for all, from single adults, family membership, students, temporary and social. Members take part in sailing, rowing, and other watersports within the area between the Road and Rail bridges. Sailing is usually about an hour before high tide whilst rowing takes place at most states of tide. Other water sports when weather and tides allow. We offer taster sessions for those wishing to row all year round and in the Summer we offer training for dinghy sailing. We are also at present setting up paddle boarding and kayaking sections in the club with tuition for beginners and experienced users. The area immediately in front of the club is ideal for rowing, sailing and most watersports. Our clubhouse has changing rooms, a kitchen to make a cup of tea or coffee, and lounge / sitting area with free Wifi for members’ use.
