Bradwell Quay Yacht Club

Bradwell Quay Yacht Club (BQYC) was formed in 1952 and is proudly RYA-accredited. Since 1964, our clubhouse has stood at the head of the slipway to Bradwell Creek — a hub for boaters on the south side of the Blackwater Estuary. Over the years, the club has grown into a welcoming community of water enthusiasts, with a strong tradition of both cruising and racing. Our facilities include a licenced bar, showers, toilets, car parking, secure outboard and oar storage, and a BBQ area with a quarterdeck and picnic tables — perfect for watching the sun set over the creek.
