Berwick Sailing (and Canoe) Club

Berwick SC is an inclusive club that caters for all. We’ve just finished improvements to our facilities that are making it easier for people to access water sports. The changes allow for greater privacy for anyone who wants it, easier safeguarding and so. Improvements include two new gender neutral ‘dry’ changing areas large enough for a parent and child, a similarly large gender neutral shower, increased toilet availability for all with two toilets now gender neutral, additional benches in both of the original open ladies and gents changing area so there has been no loss of existing provision, and increased privacy to the original showers in those changing areas. Where Berwick leads, hopefully others will follow!
