Stafford Coastal Cruising Club

Each year we organise a Spring, and/or Summer cruise. The format is flexible and the cruise(s) are organised to reflect the level of demand and skills of those wishing to join. Previous cruises have been to places such as: the West Coast of Scotland, Alderney, Guernsey and Cherbourg, the West Country, the Solent, South Coast of England, East Coast of England, Croatia, Greece, Turkey. Chartered boats are often joined by members on their own boats for a cruise in Company – an ideal way for skippers to gain experience in the company of others. Cruises normally lasts 4-5 days and in some cases 7days or more and are open to all members and their friends; this provides an ideal opportunity to gain experience as captain, crew or as a fledgling skipper. This is an excellent platform to “give sailing/ cruising a try. In addition to the Sailing in the UK (experiencing the full range of conditions found in British waters) and near continent, for 2024 we are fielding two charter yachts in the Greek Southern Ionian and another two yachts in the western Isles of Scotland. We are looking forward to an equally exciting cruise program for the 2025 summer season.
