South Woodham Ferrers Yacht Club

Cruiser Yacht Sailing is how the club started in 1975. We have a friendly flotilla of up to 30ft sailing cruisers. The club has winter storage and lifting equipment to get your boat in the water. We have a thriving paddle sports section with onsite storage for your own equipment. We also have club owned equipment that can be used by members once they have shown safety awareness. Dinghy sailing is a popular choice with social sails and occasional races. Show you are safe and there are a selection of club dinghies available for member use. A misty morning row. We have two rowing gigs. An enjoyable and social way to get out on the river, particularly in the winter months when sailing boats are in the yard. We also have a single and a double tidal water rowing scull for members use.
