Liverpool Yacht Club

Join the crew of a racing yacht and experience the thrill of sailing right in the heart of Liverpool. The club races most weekends on a Saturday and a Sunday, based upon the tides, and there are usually yachts looking for extra crew. Please enquire via the Contact Us page and we will introduce you to the skippers who are looking for crew. Start sailing with dinghies based at Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre, L22 1RR. Great sailing for everyone from complete beginner to advanced sailors. Dinghies sail most Saturdays from April to the end of October. Sail around the world as well as much closer to home. The club organises occasional sails for days out at Hilbre Island, or a sail down the coast to join in with the various regattas along the North Wales Coast. We regularly run quizzes, talks, presentation evenings, social events and peer to peer training.
