About Gairloch Boat Club

Our facilities centre on the clubhouse with its clubroom, small kitchen area, storage area for equipment, and changing rooms with toilets and showers. Adjacent to the clubhouse is the boat park and, just beyond, a large public car park. Access to the sailing area is by a public slipway across the road that allows launching of smaller dinghies most of the time, and larger dinghies and other boats when the tide is favourable. Club sailing is generally in the areas of Flowerdale Bay and Kerry Bay. The times of club sailing sessions are determined by the tides because the area in Flowerdale Bay around the slipway dries out at low water. Our regular sailing sessions are on Sundays, and we may run mid-week sessions when conditions allow (see the sailing calendar). Gairloch Boat Club is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. Charity number SC050456.
