Fox's Marina Yacht Club

Our friendly members’ club was established in 1982, based at Fox’s Marina, which is perfectly placed on the River Orwell, just on the southern outskirts of Ipswich. Throughout the year we organise cruises-in-company to various marinas (where members can join us either by sea or road), which include social get-togethers. We also organise sailing events and fishing competitions, which encourage our members to get out on the water and have fun. More recently we have started to arrange tours of locations of interest to those who enjoy boating, or host presentations given by those involved in the maritime industry. We are slightly different to other clubs as we do not have our own club house, instead we have a Bar called “The Outlook”. This is where members and non-members can meet, eat and drink with a fabulous view of the marina. The Outlook building is joined to the Harbourmasters office, and where you will also find the marina toilets and showers. Fox’s Marina Yacht Club and The Outlook work together to offer many of our club’s social events.
