Cattewater Cruising Club

The Cattewater Cruising Club is a small, friendly yacht cruising club. It was formed in 1989 and has its Headquarters in the Boringdon Arms, Turnchapel. The Club is affiliated to the Royal Yachting Association (RYA). The aim of the Club is to promote and encourage cruising and to provide social events for members. Although motor boat cruising is catered for, the majority of members own sailing yachts in the 25 – 40 ft range and the cruising programme is based on a typical rate of progress for sailing yachts of this size. The extensive cruising programme is published on the Club website and on the Plymouth Yacht Haven (PYH) website, with whom we work in partnership on the RYA Active Marina Programme. Membership fees currently stand at £20 per annum per member, due by 31st March each year. Club Burgees are available at £20.
