Cam Sailing Club

Founded in 1899, Cam Sailing Club is a long-established, family-friendly sailing club based in Waterbeach, just north of Cambridge. The club offers sailing tuition, a racing calendar for sailors of all ages. We also encourage paddleboarding, canoeing and kayaking with suitable licensing. While the River Cam is famously narrow in central Cambridge, the club enjoys a wider, open stretch of water that provides ideal conditions for dinghy sailing and racing. The club has thrived on this unique river setting for well over a century and continues to offer an accessible and enjoyable environment for beginners and experienced sailors alike.
