Ashdown Sailing Club

Ashdown is not a training organisation but is an RYA affiliated Club. We are very active in cruising with monthly weekend rallies in the Solent and South coast and a longer summer rally going further afield, currently with yachts between 20 & 40 feet in length, but we are not a racing club. We welcome both boat owners and people who want to crew and gain sailing experience or just discover the joys of sailing. Off the water, there is also a social program not just dedicated to sailing. Boat Owners gain from the opportunities to take part in the many organised weekend rallies and longer cruises knowing that through Ashdown you will always have a crew. Also for non Ashdown sailing, finding a crew is easy by just putting a message out to all members. Non-Boat Owners will simply find a wealth of opportunities to get out on the water and the cost, just a share in the expenses when you are on board! If you are new to the sport, then you will gain a wealth of experience on all the different boats.
